Rosalind has joined the team of “Literature for Life.” “Literature for Life” is a new kind of beast: part online literary magazine, part educator’s resource center, part community salon. Its goal is to bring writers, artists, and educators together to help ignite young minds with a love of reading, writing, and the visual arts.
Founded by Los Angeles based author Jervey Tervalon and USC’s Kim Thomas-Barrios, “Literature for Life” features original stories from Los Angeles area authors paired with original artwork by local artists. The stories are accompanied by innovative curriculum for middle and high school students. Students will have opportunities to feature their own written work in response to their lessons on the “Literature for Life” site, as well.
