SparkleBlob is a multidisciplinary arts and performance collective in Los Angeles that enthusiastically serves and educates the community and creates new art makers and arts leaders by shaping culture, teaching people to connect, opening eyes to different experiences, and creating conversations. For over 10 years, SparkleBlob has brought an amazing and engaging array of programs to the LA community from puppet shows to historic bicycle tours to Craft Night and the Gothtober Countdown Calendar.
Led by the fearless Julianna (J.P.) Parr, SparkleBlob is becoming a nonprofit organization to better serve the community for many years to come. As the Community SparkleMaven and co-producer of SparkleBlob’s annual holiday puppet show for three years, I’m assisting SparkleBlob in developing its organizational structure, achieving nonprofit status, and laying out its future plans and strategies!
