Many California stakeholders agree: We must speak up for strong policies to protect nature both locally and globally since we live in an inter-connected world.
Since 2020, a coalition of dozens of environmental organizations and elected officials — working at the local, state, and national levels — have supported California’s engagement in the UN Convention on Biological Diversity — the world’s treaty to protect nature and ecosystems.
Now we’re making our work formal as the California Global Biodiversity Working Group! We plan to grow our outreach and engagement around California’s leadership to save nature.
