NCJW/LA and the Power of Empowering Volunteers

Upon receiving the Emerging Leader Award from the National Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles, I was asked to co-write an article about the power of empowering volunteers to not just put their expertise to work for social justice, but to have real ownership of their projects. I co-wrote this article with fellow award recipient Yvonne Winchell, who won the Women Who Dared Award. This subject is near and dear to my heart as a consultant for nonprofits and government.
