Sci-Fest LA and the arts and education nonprofit, Light Bringer Project, have joined forces to host the 2017 short science fiction writing competitions, The Tomorrow Prize for Los Angeles County High School students and The Roswell Award for adults worldwide. I am once again directing these competitions.
The Tomorrow Prize submissions are being accepted through Friday, March 17, 2017.
The Roswell Award submissions are being accepted through Friday, March 3, 2017.
Dramatic readings of the finalists’ stories by performers followed by recognition of the winners, finalists, and honorable mentions will take place at LitFest Pasadena on May 20 and 21, 2017.
